Summary of Requirements
| Physician | A prescription from a physician is required. |
| CPR/AED Training | Anyone that acquires an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) must successfully complete and hold a current certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or an equivalent training program. |
| EMS Notification | The owner of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for commercial use may register the device with the Health Division by providing the location, name, and phone number of the business where the AED is located. |
| Maintenance Program | The owner of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) must maintain and test the AED in accordance with the manufacturer guidelines. |
| Notification of Use | No legislation is currently in place for Nevada. |
