In 2003, Cardiac Science launched the Powerheart G3 AED Pro for the professional responder. The AED allows for manual override and displays a full-color ECG.

In 2019, ZOLL Medical Corporation acquired Cardiac Science. According to online Cardiac Science distributors, the Cardiac Science Powerheart AED G3 Pro has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

Philips & Co was founded in 1891.

The HeartStart FRx was brought to the United States market in 2005. The HeartStart FRx AED has a rugged design and usefule pediatric key.
