Deval is a Firmware Engineer at Avive Solutions. Prior to joining Avive, he was the sole firmware engineer at another medical device startup, where he developed low power firmware for a micro-needle based continuous glucose monitoring system as well as the software for its manufacturing platform. He is passionate about solving complex hardware/software problems in the medical device and biotechnology startup space, and developing products that can improve and save lives. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and then his Masters in Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego.
