Defibrillator
Model
Avive AED® with Avive Connect®
Type
Fully Automatic
Defibrillation Waveform
Bi-Phasic Truncated Exponential (BTE) non-escalating energy. Waveform dynamically adjusts to optimize energy delivery for a wide range of patient impedances.
Selected Energy
Adult 150 Joules, Pediatric 50 Joules
Patient Impedance Range
25 Ohms to 200 Ohms
Audible Instructions (Emergency)
Detailed audio instructions and visual indicators guide untrained and trained responders through the rescue.
CPR Guidance
Real-time guidance via audio and visual instructions.
CPR Coaching
Continuous detailed coaching during CPR with an audible metronome, audio instructions, and countdown, all designed to encourage high performance compressions.
Indicators
Audio to convey functionality status, Status Light to indicate functionality status, Stand Back Light and audio instructions to indicate when not to touch patient during rescue scenario.
Patient Analysis
Measures the patient's electrocardiogram (ECG) and uses a patented machine learning algorithm [Rhythm Recognition Detector] to determine if defibrillation is appropriate. The Rhythm Recognition Detector has been trained using numerous databases of adult and pediatric ECGs recorded from real patients.
Sensitivity/Specificity: The performance of the Rhythm Recognition Detector exceeds sensitivity and specificity recommendations of the American Heart Association.'

Pad Cartridge Specifications
Model
Avive AED Pad Cartridge
Electrode Type
Pre-connected, single-use combined ECG / defibrillation pad. Electrode Placement: Adult: Anterior-Lateral; Pediatric: Anterior-Posterior
Electrode Cable Length
53 in (1.3 m) each
Shelf Life
2 years (see use-by-date on the Pad Cartridge)
Training Cartridge
Avive AED Training Cartridge (Optional)
When the Avive AED Training Cartridge is installed, there's no electrical connection between the training pads and the device, converting the device into Training Mode. In Training Mode, the device provides audio instructions as if it were being used in an emergency, however, the device will not actually analyze a heart rhythm or deliver defibrillation therapy. Audio instructions are for user training only. Use the Avive Connect AED to facilitate Training Mode.
Battery
Battery Type
Lithium Ion, Rechargeable, not user replaceable
Time to Full Battery Charge
<5 hours
Capacity (Fully Charged, typical)
≥ 75 shocks at 150J or 2.5 hours of continuous operation
Battery Life
A fully charged AED battery at nominal conditions will last up to 8.5 months until Low Battery. At Low Battery, the AED can deliver 10 shocks at 150J, or 20 minutes of continuous operation. At nominal conditions, the Screen & Connectivity Battery will typically last 9-12 months for devices in Low Power Mode, and 2-3 months for devices in High Power Mode.
