What’s Changed

The REALConnect™8.0 software release contains an overhaul of the platform’s Health State notifications to better support you in managing a fleet of lifesaving Avive Connect AED®s. This update includes customizable notifications, the addition of SMS text message notifications, downloadable AED and User Reports, new ways to filter the Fleet Map, and more.

New Features

• Customizable Notifications: Pick and choose which notifications you want to receive about your AEDs whenever they change health states.
• Notifications by Text: Opt in to receive an SMS text message for time-sensitive notifications, like when your AED is in use.
• Fleet Health Summary Emails: Get summary reports about the health of your AEDs sent directly to your inbox – monthly, weekly, or every day.
• Downloadable Reports: Download AED and User Reports straight from your REALConnect Platform. Use these reports to help your AED program stay in compliance.

Improvements

• Dashboard Refresh: Your Dashboard page has a fresh new look, making it easier to navigate and quickly learn what you need to know about your fleet.
• Fleet Health Upgrades: Health States listed on your Dashboard page are now clickable and dynamically reflected on your interactive map.

Who’s Impacted

Administrators and Managers in the REALConnect Platform can now customize their notification preferences from their Profile page, download AED & User Reports, and opt-in to receive Fleet Health summary emails for all the AEDs in their fleet (Administrators) or for the AEDs they are assigned to (Managers).

Why You’d Use It

This notification overhaul gives you the ability to leverage and customize your REALConnect account so that it can provide ultimate peace of mind over your fleet of lifesaving devices. Incident Notifications allow you to receive a text message or email when your AED is in use, which provides real-time insight into active cardiac arrest emergencies that are taking place among your fleet of devices.

Customizable Fleet Health notifications help you stay on top of managing your AEDs and give you the option to be notified whenever and however you’d like. If you prefer to receive notifications straight to your phone via text, now you have the option to select “SMS” in your notification preferences. If you prefer to keep all AED notifications sent to your email, simply select “Email.” If you want a text message and an email notification when a device needs attention, you have the option to select both.

Downloading AED and User Reports from your REALConnect Platform can be used to submit for AED program compliance purposes.
