REALConnect™ update revolutionizes emergency response capabilities.
What’s Changed
The hallmark of the REALConnect™ 10.0 release is Avive’s QuickRescue™ feature. When enabled, QuickRescue automatically alerts 911 when an Avive Connect AED® is in use. This release also includes the introduction of a Billing Page where customers can enter credit card information directly into their REALConnect account.
New Features
- QuickRescue: QuickRescue automatically notifies 911 when your Avive Connect AED is in use and will send the AED’s event data to emergency services through RapidSOS. When enabled, QuickRescue makes your Avive Connect AED the first and only AED that alerts 911. Learn more.
- Billing Page: A user is now able to add a credit card to the Billing Information page in REALConnect. The credit card can be used to pay an upcoming or outstanding REALConnect Services subscription payment.
- Setup Needed Health State: We’ve introduced a new health state, Setup Needed, to help specify to which devices are in Shipping Mode.
Improvements
- New Phone Numbers: SMS text message notifications related to Fleet Health are now sent from a different phone number than Nearby Emergency SMS Alerts. Users are encouraged to save these phone numbers as contacts in their phones so they are easier to recognize upon receipt.
- Nearby Emergency SMS Alerts are only available for users in 4 Minute Communities and PAD+ organizations.
Who’s Impacted
All existing customers with an active REALConnect Services Subscription have the ability to enable QuickRescue for the Avive Connect AEDs in their fleet. To enable QuickRescue, you must have Administrator permissions. Only REALConnect users with Administrator permissions will be able to view and add a credit card to the Billing Information on their Organization Settings Page.

Whether your Avive Connect AED protects your home, university, or Fortune 500 company, QuickRescue is a beneficial feature to enable. QuickRescue allows for real-time data sharing during an emergency, which provides 911 telecommunicators and emergency services with helpful context to aid in responding to a cardiac arrest. This feature also helps give peace of mind to the rescuer that emergency services has a complete picture of what is happening during the emergency.
If you are interested in paying for your annual REALConnect Services Subscription with a credit card, the Billing Information section now offers you a convenient way to submit payment information through the platform. Only Administrators can enter credit card information into the REALConnect Organization Settings page.
