New Hires @ Avive Solutions

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – (November 5, 2019) – Avive Solutions, Inc. , a leading developer of a next-generation Automated External Defibrillator (AED) addressing the global public health issue of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), today announced that Jimy Pesin has joined the company as its Director of Systems Engineering, Greg Feneis has joined the company as a Sr. Electrical Engineer, and Maggie Andrews has joined the company as its Head of Design.

Jimy Pesin

Jimy has worked both in several startups as well as large corporations developing medical devices. His past experiences include leading a technical team as a Principal System Engineer at Boston Scientific to develop high power laser systems for stone and tissue ablation in the urinary pathway, developing neurostimulation systems for peripheral neuropathy and overactive bladder, and designing a novel respiratory monitoring system for premature infants.

Greg Feneis

Greg has over 20 years of electronics design and manufacturing experience, and nearly 10 of those years have been focused on medical device products. Throughout his career, Greg has developed a variety of Class II and III medical device products that have gone on to receive FDA approval. His most recent role prior to joining Avive was as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Element Science – a medical device company that has developed a novel wearable defibrillator technology.

Maggie Andrews

Maggie has over 6 years of experience leading complex design projects as an independent consultant. She specializes in web design, UI/UX for robust customer-facing software products, and company branding.
