Meir Berkman

Meir serves as a Public Safety & Healthcare advisor to Avive. With 10 years of service in the 911 industry, Meir offers expertise in digital health, Public Safety, EMS, home health, and healthcare insurance. Meir currently leads healthcare partnerships at Butterfly Network, a recently publicly listed medical device company. He previously led healthcare partnerships and strategy for RapidSOS, which manages the flow of data for over 200M annual 911 calls. Prior to his time at RapidSOS, Meir worked in regulatory affairs at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and served as the Executive Director of an Upstate New York Emergency Medical Service Group. Meir received his bachelor’s degree and Masters in Public Administration from Binghamton University, and continues to volunteer as a medic in New York City.

• Meir is a volunteer paramedic in New York City.
• His favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate-chip cookie dough with extra chocolate chips and extra cookie dough.
• Meir ran his own business at the age of 11 selling soda to construction workers out of a cooler he mounted to a homemade bike trailer.
