Todd Brahana

Todd has dedicated his entire professional career to the medical device industry, holding key roles in product realization, including manufacturing, process and new product introduction engineering, and leadership across operations management. His diverse experience spans from nimble startups and rapidly growing small to mid-sized companies, to some of the largest medical device corporations globally. Todd's expertise covers a wide range of medical products, including cardiology, neurology, sports medicine, ENT, spine, enteral nutrition, and consumer medical products. Before joining Avive and starting to really save lives, his proudest accomplishment was being part of the original team responsible for the paradigm-shifting Willow wearable breast pump.  Todd lives with his wife (and many pets, now that the children are out of the house) in Menlo Park, CA.

Fun fact

• I grew up in Nashville, then went to college in San Diego, and except for two years in Minnesota in the middle, have lived in California ever since.
• I'm a huge Stanford Women's Volleyball fan and have pictures of my youngest with Olympic silver medalist Kathryn Plummer.
• For fun, while I mostly just golf and hike these days, in my past I've been a cross country runner, skier, snowboarder, rower, surfer and triathlete.
• We currently have a menagerie of pets, consisting of two cats (sometimes four), a dog and a rabbit.  My wife keeps replacing my kids with pets when they go away to school!
