Avive’s Connect AED is the newest defibrillator to hit the market, released in 2023, and falls on the low to middle end of the cost spectrum. Weighing just 2.1 pounds, it is the smallest, lightest FDA approved AED with in-rescue bilingual capabilities, and in-rescue Child button eliminating the need for a pediatric key. Universal electrode pads safe to use on adults and children also save time during a rescue. Fully connected to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, it is the first and only AED to offer full, bidirectional integration with 911 call centers. Its software can be updated remotely and it is also the first device to display a female chest in the on-screen graphic instructions.

The HeartSine samaritan PAD 350P is a semi-automatic, small and durable AED that launched in 2013. Prior to the Avive Connect AED™, the HeartSine samaritan PAD 350P was the smallest and lightest AED on the market at 2.4lbs. The device offers weekly self-tests and has a high IP rating of 56.

Note: In 2015, HeartSine was acquired by Physio-Control, who was subsequently acquired by Stryker in 2016. The HeartSine brand is now under the Stryker umbrella.
